Hi, I'm Sam.
Originally from Wales, I met the kiwi love of my life, got married and decided to swap green fields and sheep for green fields and sheep. That was over 13 years ago. I am now proud to call Southland home and am blissfully raising my young family here.
So why Oval Recruitment? I am passionate about people, successful recruitment and team fit. Finding the perfect match for both employer and employee is what drives me.
Most of us have to work, myself included and I want to ensure the time I spend away from my family is enjoyable, amongst good people and as fulfilling as possible. I can do that for you too.
My international experience includes external recruitment for two of the largest UK recruitment agencies; Reed Recruitment and Select Appointments, internal recruitment at Southland District Health Board and more recently, H&J Smith Department Store. Along with a six year period of financial advising, my career portfolio has been delightfully diverse, enough to gain invaluable insight on what makes people and companies run smoothly - good recruitment.
